Janice has over seven years experience in the research industry as well as an extensive background in strategic planning and finance and human resource management.

Before joining ORC-NW, Janice served as a Project Director in Health Behavior Research, working extensively with the Centers for Disease Control and State Health Districts. Janice has wide-ranging understanding of general population studies that require complex sample management and long data collection periods. With this experience, Janice has been involved in the research process from questionnaire design, interviewer training, interviewer scheduling and data quality - from data cleaning to analysis. Janice’s research experience also includes customer satisfaction studies for Hewlett-Packard, which required the development of an extensive database to capture multiple studies and individual transcriptions.

Since joining ORC-NW, Janice has focused her expertise on many aspects of the company’s policies and processes. She began in the Field Services department and was integral in its expansion to its current size. With these systems in place, focus was then placed on Research Operations where she worked to ensure the smooth process flow between questionnaire programming to data collection back to data processing. In these roles, Janice constantly looked for ways to improve processes to ensure the best quality data for her clients, both inside and outside Northwest Research Group.

As Senior Director of Field Services, . Janice is active in business development for both the qualitative and quantitative research projects and manages all non full-service projects, including the management of our Boise, ID focus group facility. She has built strong relationships with a number of clients including the Kohl Group and Hewlett Packard, Market Decisions, and a number of professional qualitative research firms and independent moderators. .

She is a member of the Marketing Research Association.
